Is it really personal, or a template with my name on it?

Truly personal. Nothing is assembled from stock paragraphs with a name dropped in. Every section is written from scratch, every single time, for one chart: your planets, angles, aspects, the living sky around them, and the meetings your chart actually holds. Two women will not share a page. Even where two charts hold the same goddesses in the same relationship, each woman's sections are written originally for her, because the rest of her chart changes what that meeting means. The sample excerpts on this page came from one specific chart, and no other reading will repeat them.

It goes further if you let it. Alongside your birth data we ask for a few optional personal details: what is alive for you now, what you are circling. Anything you choose to share is read together with your chart, so the goddesses are met in the terms of your own life rather than in general.

We are exacting about accuracy. Your chart is computed from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same tables professional astrologers work from, and every section then passes three layers of quality assurance before it reaches you: a line-by-line check against your own placements, aspects, and orbs; an independent review that reads for what the first pass cannot; and a rewrite of anything that does not match your chart. A passage that cannot be squared with your chart is rewritten until it can be, or it does not make the book.

Use the most precise time you can find. Your birth time places the Ascendant and the Midheaven, so a birth certificate, baby book, or a call to a relative is worth one ask.

And if it stays out of reach, there is a box for that when you begin— I don't know my birth time—and nothing is guessed on your behalf. We simply leave out the two things that turn on the minute you were born: the rising sign and the Midheaven. Every goddess in your chart stays, and so does every meeting between them, which is where this reading lives. You will still be handed a full and powerful book.

How long is it, and how does it arrive?

It is a book-length illustrated reading. Most readings run 40 to 50 pages across a dozen or more gatherings; your report follows the shape of your own chart. It lives in your Alchemy account, with a keepsake PDF you can download, print, and return to.

Is this only for women?

It is a feminine-first reading—the planets met as goddesses, the arc drawn from the heroine's journey rather than the hero's—and it is open to anyone who feels called to walk that path. The feminine it speaks of lives in every chart.

I've never read a birth chart before. Will I be lost?

No. Every aspect is met as a story first—two goddesses, and what passes between them—with the astrology named alongside for those who want it. Newcomers can read it as myth about themselves; experienced astrologers will recognize the precision underneath.

Why we call it Alchemy

The old alchemists were never really after gold. Lead into gold was the metaphor. The actual work was the transformation of consciousness: taking the heaviest material in a life, the traumas and the hardships, and coming out the other side holding something like triumph, a real blessing.

We have had the honor of living those shifts ourselves, and of sitting with other people while they lived theirs. We named this project after that potential, because we do not know of anything more beautiful a human being can do.
